Meet the
Foundation Board
Steering the Gaston County Police Foundation is a dedicated Board of Trustees. This group manages everything from electing executive officers and guiding staff to safeguarding assets and overseeing smart investments. They keep the Foundation financially healthy and mission-focused.
Their responsibilities include:
-
Electing and guiding leadership. The Board chooses executive officers and offers strategic input on hiring staff who carry out daily operations.
-
Managing and investing funds. With careful stewardship, the Board grows and protects the Foundation’s resources, making sure donations and bequests work hard for Gaston County.
-
Distributing resources. From training programs to new equipment, the Board directs funds where they make the biggest impact.
-
Ensuring long-term stability. By overseeing expenses closely, the Board keeps the Foundation self-sustaining.
The Trustees serve with care, transparency, and a deep sense of duty to both our officers and the community. They also stand accountable to rigorous standards, avoiding personal gain and acting always in the public interest.
